The Babson Breakaway Challenge is a competition and mentoring program that champions women entrepreneurs and aspiring venture capitalists; giving 6 women-led start-ups and 6 venture capital apprentices six weeks of mentoring, as well as award the winning start-up with $250,000 in funding.
This was such an inspiring and exciting project, in which I was able to create for them the materials and website to promote this challenge nationally.
“In September, 2016, Babson College hosted the largest-ever capital campaign for women-led businesses called the Babson Breakaway Challenge. We received over 400 applications to participate; had a dozen sponsors; hosted experts, business leaders, celebrities; and saw over 3,000 people attend the series of events associate with the Challenge. Cade singlehandedly designed and managed all of the collateral for this large event. Beginning with conceptualizing a look-and-feel and brand identity, they adeptly managed the design of the event website, flyers, sponsorship documents and sell sheets, event programs, posters, t-shirts … and the list goes on. Since the competition, we have called on Cade for help with other projects ranging from PowerPoint design for presentations to other event collateral. Cade is quick to understand our needs and is very responsive. They’re a pleasure to work with. We highly and enthusiastically recommend them.”
